About the company:
We are a multimedia creative house born in the artistic heart of Amsterdam, we've now made London our new home.
Responsibilities:
As a member of Modern Made, you will be part of a team supporting the head of the company by ensuring constant support.
You'll assist the founder wherever needed (business and personal) so he can merely focus on his main tasks.
It's your job to lift the unnecessary weight of his shoulders by assisting with daily duties and completing a broad variety of tasks that includemanaging an active calendar of appointments (business and personal), completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence, conducting research on prospective projects, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas, compilingdocuments for meetings, personal shopping and managing household activities.
Since you'll work closely with the founder, a personal connection is of utmost importance.In order for you to support him, you should be:
- Proactive: you come up with suggestions and ideas yourself that benefit the situation
- Independent: you are able to recognize needs and act on them
- Reliable: you understand the value of time and finances and have excellent memory
- Positive: you have a cando attitude and you think in solutions. You are able to separate yourself from the situation and not take things personally
- Quick: You need to be able to deal with stressful situations and act fast while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Have a sense of style/aesthetic eye: you are able to understand his vision and how he imagines things to work or look like.
- Flexible/adaptive: Since circumstances in this job can be quite turbulent, a flexible attitude is necessary. You'll be available at all times.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (both writing and speaking)
- Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organisational, and research skills
- Excellent management, timemanagement, and problemsolving skills
- Your work is consistent and you pay attention to detail regardless of project size/scope
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Interest in fashion/business hospitality (fashion lifestyle/beauty/travel)
- Good at negotiating
- Must be able to travel overseas regularly together or separate (EU/US/UK passport ready + fully vaccinated)
- Based in The Netherlands or willing to relocate
- Can drive with a clean record.
- 23 years of experience in a similar position
- Creative mindset or previous experiences in the creative field is a plus
- Proficiency is multiple languages is a plus
