Are you a current supervisor/team leader looking for a new challenge?

Are you an ambitious team member with large convenience experience looking for a role with more responsibility?


If so, read on, this role could be for you We are converting our Select Convenience store in Whiston to a Costcutter and are looking for full time team leaders to join our expanding team.

About the job
This position requires individuals who are proficient with numbers and reconciling cash.

The ability to have good relationships in store and across the business is critical, working as a team to ensure the store is the best it can be.


You will need to be able to support the store manager in managing the team to ensure our customers get the best experience.

The role requires individuals with the ability to carry out the physical aspects such as taking in deliveries and merchandising the stores, and the ability to manage stock control, shrinkage and returns.

We have a Post Office within our store and so Post Office experience would be advantageous.

Our stores are part of the local community and we operate 7 days a week.

You will be able to work an array of shift patterns across the month, working to know the customer base and what they need.

Requirements:


For this role it would be advantageous if you had experience in a busy convenience store, post office and/or team leader, supervisory or management role.


You will know how to treat the team, customers, building rapport and encouraging them to return, along with a positive can-do attitude and great behaviours as we have strong values and expect our managers to demonstrate them and lead by example.

You must be comfortable with the hours our businesses trade, lone working, the physical aspects of the role.

2 x 40-hour contracts available
