An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly Pre-Op Assessment Department.

Our Working hours are Monday - Friday.


The Pre-Operative Department is a key element in providing a high-quality service to patients and in achieving agreed standards within the trust.

We are looking for a motivated and resilient healthcare assistant, with a "can do" attitude, to join our team.

You will be responsible for assisting qualified staff by taking bloods, MRSA swabs and performing ECGs. Urine testing, reception duties. There is also a requirement for some administrative duties. Preparing notes for clinics. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care. A friendly and patient-centred approach is vital for this role.

It is also important that the applicant has a calming demeanour as most patients are quite anxious, nervous coming into hospital pre surgery.
