Press Operator / Machine Operative

The Best Connection are delighted to advertise a brand new opportunity for an experienced machine press operator - available immediately My client is a fast growing business who offer committed to providing high quality sustainable products to their customers.

We are looking for a switched on and highly motivated individual who has proven/extensive experience within a manufacturing/production ideally with experience in tablet press machines.

The key duty of this position is blending of raw materials and operating machinery safely to meet production deadlines.

Other duties include:

Housekeeping and maintenance, keeping a clean environment
Weigh the tablets and inspect them according to standard.
Make adjustments to the press based on quality output

This role is for an experienced operator with a level of mechanical knowledge. A decent level of mechanical understanding will be required. There are good opportunities to move up through the company.

Qualifications:

At least 1-2 years experience as a tablet machine operator in the packaging industry.
Production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing is preferred.
Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.
Basic mathematics skills are required.
Must be able to take direction and work unsupervised

Job Types:
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Salary:
£11.00-£13.79 per hour
