We now have a great opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join us as an HR Administrator (apprentice), with guidance and support from our small but experienced team, you will gain invaluable experience within a fast-paced HR role whilst also working towards a fully funded Level 3 in HR Support Apprenticeship.

This role is fixed term for up to 24 months.


This is a newly created role, whereby you will provide support and assistance to our HR team in their day-to-day roles, whilst learning on the job.

This will range from general administration support, assist with company recruitment and onboarding through to assisting on special projects.


This role may suit someone who is currently working in HR and looking for an opportunity within the Energy Sector and to gain a qualification, or someone with general administrative experience who is keen to enter the world of HR.

The role is full time (37 hrs per week) and is to be based in Leeds or London. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Provide generalist HR administration support to the HRBP/HR Manager in order to assist them with actively supporting their client bases
  • Support the onboarding process, including producing contracts of employment, offer letters
  • Creating and formatting letters and other HR paperwork, including contract amendment letters
  • Update the Payroll system with starter, leaver and employee changes etc., ensuring that these processes operate smoothly and are in line with established policies and processes
  • Respond to reference requests
  • Record all training in the ENGIE's training management system
  • Administer referrals to Occupational Health as required
  • Provide cover for the HR Coordinator as and when required
  • Assisting the Talent Acquisition Partner with organising interviews, posting job adverts and other recruitment related activities.
  • Respond to queries received in the HR admin inbox
  • Responsible for raising HR related POs and receipting invoices
  • Providing support with organising training sessions
  • Support with other adhoc requests and HR projects (e.g. ENGIE's Graduate scheme)

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Excellent command of MS Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint and willingness to master new software tools
  • Sound interpersonal skills with an appreciation of crosscultural working
  • Awareness of the big picture and the impact on others.
  • Strong communication skills and a great writing style
  • Focus on effective & timely delivery and getting things done in a commercial context
  • An active interest in technology and software would be an advantage

Qualifications:


  • Five GCSEs at grade A-C (including English and mathematics) or equivalent
  • Relevant work experience
  • Will be studying toward HR Level 3 apprenticeship

Experience:


  • Experience of administering HR processes (desirable)
  • Experience of HR systems administration (desirable)
  • Experience of providing support to HR system users at all levels (desirable)
