- Groundbreaking notforprofit (NFP) seeking a business writer with a proactive approach._
- This oneofakind NFP is in the process of forming a high caliber team and looking to grow with the help of an indispensable writer: one with a cando attitude, acute attention to detail and finetuned sense of discretion and professionalism. The NFP is working with topnotch stakeholders, who hold them to the highest standards, and equally, provide considerable financial and inkind support._
The role_
- We require a strong allrounder who can take charge of our deliverable projects, can work to strict to deadlines and manage timelines effectively, with excellent command of both written and spoken businesslevel English._
- Some of the projects will be regular and predictable; others will be adhoc and require initiative and creativity. Responsibilities_
- Undertake necessary research on topics relevant to assigned projects and maintain familiarity with available information sources
- Undertake writing and editing to develop highquality business reports, papers, content, etc.
- Define and deliver reports and projects to tight deadlines
- Liaise with all opinion leaders/authors or other external parties in such a way as to foster strong and positive relationships and to ensure project success
- Develop a sound knowledge of, and keep uptodate with relevant publications/research developments in key policy areas, both nationally and internationally
- Carry out literature reviews (peerreviewed and grey literature), interpreting, synthesizing, and presenting findings to a high
- Thought leadership: keeping abreast of all the latest movements within the sector we work within
- Ability to prioritize work and define steps needed to achieve specified project outcomes.
- Proofreading and copyediting skills
- Creating and managing databases of important research, experts, etc.
- Preparation of presentations for various meetings from a master presentation of slides
- Potentially writing blurbs for social media posts on current developments
- Helping with other support projects as required from time to time
Skills & Experience_
- 8+ years of experience as a writer in a business environment
- Proven ability to manage research reports and deliver projects
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with buy side investors and/or technology sectors highly desirable
- High level professional writing and communications skills
- Knowledge of the investment and/or tech sectors is required

- Start date for this position is ASAP. While this is a fulltime role, the working hours are flexible, as is the location, with occasional face to face meetings required in central London. The salary range for this role is £3550k, depending on experience._
