We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting and developing the children in Key Stage 1 to work in our mixed Y1/2 class from September 2024.

The work will involve supporting the class as well as helping individual children during unstructured times at lunch and playtimes.

You must be motivated, patient and highly organised, working under the supervision of the class teacher assisting with creating a positive learning environment and purposeful continuous provision.

Working within a team, you would be a good communicator, able to be flexible to work across the school at times and be sensitive in responding to the needs of the children.

An interest in professional development is important. Experience of this kind of work would be an advantage.

We are a nurturing school and are developing our knowledge of Zones of Regulation.

We are keen to make all school experiences fun and rewarding for children whose anxieties can make the environment more challenging.
