We are looking for an experienced
CNC Miller to join a rapidly expanding engineering company and their new state-of-the-art facility in
Stockport.


This is a business that have placed themselves at the forefront of the CNC design and manufacturing sector and are expanding their team of professionals as a result.

What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?

  • Running and overseeing the operation of CNC milling machines to produce precise components based on engineering drawings and specifications
  • Preparing CNC milling machines for production by installing and aligning workpieces, clamping tools, and configuring machine settings
  • Creating or editing CNC programs to control the movement of the cutting tools and achieve the desired part geometry
  • Inspecting and measuring finished parts using various precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

What do you need?

  • Time served as an apprentice
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with CAM programming
  • Previous exposure to millturn machines and multichannel
  • An understanding of working in line with quality standards such as ISO 9001

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£15.00-£18.00 per hour
