Graduate Power BI Analyst

Are you looking for a role to start in early 2023 which would suit a graduate aspiring to build a great career in data analytics?

If so, this could well interest you.


You'll be working with a fast-growing SME who will give you lots of opportunities to develop your analytical skills in Compliance, Risk and core MI.

You'll be supported, trained and developed by a fantastic team.

Prior experience working with Power BI even if just theoretical would be advantageous, but, isn't 100% essential. A willingness to carve out an exciting career in data analysis or risk analysis will be key though.

If you enjoy taking very raw data sets,manipulating them and bringing them to life, you'll make a name for yourself quickly in this business and it will lead to lots more in terms of opportunities.

You'll be highly visible up to Exec level, and attend senior meetings.

Hybrid working wise, it's office based 3 days per week in Derby. They are flexible on the other 2 days.


It could suit someone right at the start of their Data Analysis career, or the role can be tailored to someone with experience already.


The Role:

  • Development and analytical reporting around risk and compliance processes for the business
  • Qualitative and quantitative risk analysis supporting senior Directors
  • Analysis of complex problems, strengths, and weaknesses
  • Delivery of insightful MI reporting using Excel, Power BI and internal systems
  • Project analysis and delivery of insights to senior decision makers within the business
  • Ongoing management of existing reporting, systems and processes to drive efficiencies
