Drivers of 5.2 & 7 ton single car transporter with trailer required for immediate start

£13.00 per hour

60+ hours available per week

Full time position available

Here at R H Car Transport, we are committed to delivering excellent customer service, reliability, and professionalism to our customers.

Est 2015 we are a nationwide transported car collection and delivery service serving many major corporate fleet providers

As part of our team you will be responsible for performing daily checks on your truck & trailer ,reporting any defects to our transport manager.

Your daily duties will include collecting and delivering vehicles nationwide, ensuring a thorough appraisal of each vehicle at both collection and delivery points is made

We take pride in our customer handovers which includes contacting the customer with an ETA.

Giving the customer a full overview of their new vehicle, ensuring the customer is happy with its condition and all of the required paperwork is completed before leaving.

You will work according to EU driver regulations which you should already be familiar with - you may be required to stay overnight in hotels from time to time.

Essential requirements:

Reliable and trustworthy

Previous experience transporting cars on a transporter/ trailer prefered but full training will be given

Familiar with regulations relating to tachograph, driver hours and working time regulations

Driver CPC
C1+E entitlement

Clean driving licence
Smart phone/tablet for completing vehicle appraisals and receiving daily deliveries

Willingness to spend nights out to meet the demands of our customers (overnight payments will be paid & hotel accomadation provided)

Attention to detail

Computer literate

Deliver excellent customer service

Smart appearance

Beneficial experience:

Familiar with using the MoDel app

Experience completing vehicle appraisals

What we can offer you:

Regular full time hours Monday to Friday

Wages paid weekly

28 days holiday (including UK bank holidays)
