Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30, last Saturday morning of the month.


What you can expect from the role:


Due to our business's current development and growth, we now have an opportunity for a Trainee Sales Administrator to join, our team based in Letchworth Garden City.

This is is full time permanent position.

As a Trainee Sales Administrator, you will be supported by other members of the team, and shown the process of arranging for sold vehicles to be registered.

Eventually, you will be allocated your own accounts to manage, and will accurately record all orders, purchases, stock, demonstrators, sales and registrations for what you have learnt.- Through the learning process, you will monitor orders on your account, and ensure any preparation work, will be completed on time, and again report any likely delays as early as possible.

Customers will be kept up-to-date with the progress on their vehicle.

Any alterations or delays on orders, must be recorded.- As our Trainee Sales Administrator, will be shown how to use systems such as, the AFRL, and how to process car registrations.

Your line manager and team members will support you through this learning process.- In addition, you will be shown how to log discrepancies and any errors, then how to raise these with your line manager or the dealership sales manager.- The team follow and implement documented procedures, to ensure the sales process operates efficiently and to maximum capacity.- This is an administration-based role, and daily responsibilities will include, processing quotations, liaising with other departments, producing invoices, purchasing stock & finalising forms prior to and after handovers, etc.


What we need from you:


Due to the nature of the information, you will be dealing with, understanding the importance of confidentiality is vital.- You will be dealing with sales paperwork and registration documents, so an exceptional level of attention to detail is a must.

You will have a strong background in administration, and be able to utilise these skills.- These skills will include, competence using MS Office packages, as well as, with your communication skills, both on the telephone and in person.- You will be highly organised, able to manage your time effectively, and work well under pressure, as at times you will be working to tight deadlines.- Other strengths we need from you would be a methodical approach to problem solving, great attitude to work, a helpful can-do attitude.
