Description
We are looking for a motivated and positive individual to support our E Commerce business at Isabel Hospice.

This E Commerce Trading Assistant role will support the E Commerce Manager through the day-to-day delivery of tasks.

This will be a rewarding role which will enable you to work collaboratively with the other members of the E Commerce department, as well as the rest of the Retail team within the Hospice.


You will be required to:

  • Maximise E Commerce profits through delivery of the retail strategy
  • Sort, categorise, research, price and list donated and bought goods on all of our E Commerce selling platforms. Where needed, cleaning and polishing of donated items so they are at their best quality for listing
  • Ensuring accuracy of listings with high quality photography and detailed descriptions containing key search terms
  • Proactive and conscientious
  • Able to communicate effectively with people, including other staff members, customers and volunteers.
  • Prepared to "muck in"
  • A strong team player
  • Experienced in working in a customer focused environment and have the ability to provide an excellent all round customer service
Previous experience with the eBay selling platform is ideal but not essential. Having a particular interest in vintage or collectable items is an advantage.

  • Successful applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check (Formally known as CRB)_
  • We encourage all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid19._

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Part-time hours: 7.5 per week


Salary:
£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Every weekend
