Job Introduction:


We currently have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Quality Improvement Team Leader to join our team in Bellshill, to drive improvement in both product quality and process compliance to internal and legislative standards to enable the business to meet and exceed customer and consumer expectations.


Main Responsibility:


  • Develop the framework for Continuous Improvement activities within Packaging Quality and develop and deploy roadmap for implementation.
  • Lead quality improvement opportunities identified via performance data or as a result of a serious quality incident.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and relevant records for all Quality Improvement Activities in IFS, Q Pulse, and other relevant databases ensuring appropriate escalations to Quality Leadership and all relevant teams.
  • Monitor and report on Quality Improvement KPIs across packaging operations identifying trends and deploy relevant SPC initiatives to support QA improvement activities and system solutions.
  • Establish governance processes that ensures all process maps, control plans and associated documentation is maintained in accordance with the WGW governance structure and the requirements of Q Pulse.
  • Working with Packaging Operations, establish governance and change control processes that ensure QC (PCR) check are maintained and aligned with process maps, control plans and stored in IFS, Q Pulse, and other relevant databases.
  • Work with MRB teams to manage all Quality Held stock, ensuring ownership, accountability and actions are in place and working effectively at each site and develop overall reporting data.
  • Deliver guidance on quality assurance procedures and their practical implementation were required.
  • Develop and implement Quality training programmes to support Quality Team and Packaging Operations.
