Company Overview


A growing food manufacturing company that have performed exceptionally well recently are looking for a Finance Controller to manage the finance team and provide stability during a period of growth.


Skills & Experience:


  • ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Experience working in food/FMCG manufacturing desirable
  • Prior experience managing a team of finance professionals
  • Sage 200 experience essential

Responsibilities:


  • Full responsibility for leading all financial accounting, treasury and taxation functions for the Group including budgeting and forecasting
  • Lead the preparation of yearend accounts and work with our external auditors to complete the statutory accounts
  • Manage relationships with external UK advisors
  • Oversee a small team including management accountants, credit controllers etc.
  • Develop KPIs and budgets for all departments
  • Advise the board on tax efficient strategies including capital investment appraisal, changes in share structure, R&D projects and ECA
  • Lead multiple strategic projects such as obtaining grant funding, development of ERP system
