Mission & Main Objectives:
Working as part of a small team responsible for internal and external corporate communications at Nissan's Sunderland Plant, including media events.
Outline and Responsibilities:
- Management of all video/ photography materials for the communications team.
- Driving up, establishing and maintaining the standard of visual content and video production, researching and delivering new software / technical approaches where appropriate, handling sensitive and confidential business information
- Creating regular flow of highquality, uptodate visual material for use internally as well as supporting the wider Nissan AMIEO communications function, working collaboratively with other entities to provide relevant and timely content
- Manage NMUK video and image library to ensure fresh, relevant and uptodate assets including the creation of template assets for use in video content by other NE entities.
- Project management of weekly digital video production, executive projects and delivery of projects to support other entities from inception to delivery including script writing, filming and editing with mínimal supervision.
- Contribution of video project ideas and delivery aligned to the NMUK comms strategy and delivery of key strategic messages, deploying a consistent brand message across communications.
- Working with Executive management team (VP/ SVP) during critical business periods
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a related discipline
- Script writing skills essential
- Proficiency in video production, DSLR and editing in a variety of environments is essential
- Experience of creative networking/ liaising with regional and national agencies to produce assets for relevant projects
- Ability to provide creative direction and storyboarding
- Ability to plan and develop content from basic briefs with timely delivery is essential
- Advanced skill level in high quality stills photography and techniques
- Ability to work as part of a small, close communications team is essential, as well as deliver projects to a tight deadline.
- Exceptional attention to detail is a must
- Knowledge of the automotive sector and wider business is preferable
