An exciting opportunity to be part of our growing team taking care of the upkeep of the grounds, gardens and surrounding areas of Taymouth Castle for members, guests visitors.

Duties will be varied according to the time of year and weather conditions, and involve a variety of tasks that maintain the health and appearance of our grass, trees and plants - there will never be a shortage of tasks in this stunning environment

Being naturally punctual, and motivated with a 'can do' positive attitude who takes pride in what they do, is just what is needed to thrive in this fantastic new project.

_ Key Responsibilities:
_

Ensure the correct procedures are followed regarding the use of all machinery, all hand tools fertilisers and pesticides
Provide regular updates on the condition of the gardens, surrounding areas and environment
Undertake Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in line with current and changing requirements of the role
Promote safe working practices in all areas of operation
Report all faults and defects relating to the condition of the various venues, equipment, tools, buildings, etc.
Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times
Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives
Povid support to the smooth running of all facilities
Ensure all refuse is managed in accordance to Scottish Waste Regulations

_ Skills and Qualifications:
_

Proficient in the use Information Communication Technology
NVQ level 3 or equivalent, PA1, PA2 and PA6A spraying certificates
Previous experience in a similar role and/or environment would be preferred, but not essential
Knowledge of the game of golf with the ability to learn policies, rules and regulations
High standard of personal presentation
Knowledge of all applicable legislation, regulations, and best practice, including Health and Safety, to ensure compliance including following all legislative guidelines for the preparation, use and disposal of chemicals, the safe use of tools, plant and equipment
Full driving licence
Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
Exceptional guest service skills
