The Role


We are currently looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Early Years Team to cover the social communication resources in Reading looking after children age 3-5.

The admin base is Whitley Health Centre but serving 3 Early Years resourcesin Whitley, Caversham and Tilehurst.


In this role as an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the planning and management of interventions, working collaboratively with education staff to meet the needs of children attending the 3 Social Communication Resources.

This role willalso involve the delivery of training to educate staff or parents.


As a service we are very committed to the development of our staff and are seeking people who are passionate about working with children and young people and keen to further develop their clinical and leadership skills.

This role is 22.5 hours per week which will be split over 3 days working term time only.

You will work along side a Speech and Language Therapist working 3 days in each resource rotated on a 3 weekly basis.


Skills & Abilities

  • Diploma/ Degree in Occupational therapy
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Car driver
  • Use of own transport to travel between sites
