My client, a leader in digital cyber security and intelligence who work with global clients across central government, defence and financial services currently requires a Lead Systems Engineer on a permanent basis to join their organisation.

They delivercutting-edge security solutions for their clients and are considered one of the best companies to work for within cyber security.

The Lead Systems Engineer will work with a high-profile central government organisation. The organisation is progressing on a large transformation of its heavily data-driven operations.

Lead Systems Engineer client requirements:

Solidify programme scope
Ensure intelligible alignment with other programmes
Ensure appropriate teams are set up for delivery, coached and supported through the transformation
Ensure 1st line assurance of design and delivery is adequate, appropriate, effective and efficient
Background in DevOps
Multi-Cloud
Background in Software Engineering MSC or PhD

Lead Systems Engineer end-to-end solution responsibilities:

Work with the lead business architect to create a target operating model
Work with the capability delivery assessment team to define mapping of programs outputs and customer capabilities
Collaborate with the enterprise design authority in enabling its 2nd line assurance
Ensure and assure that each theme of work is clear about its purpose, objectives, roadmap and definitions of done and overall place within the Programme
Work closely with the Programme personnel, Business Change Management, Enterprise Design and the wider business to ensure that Ways of Working and Change Management are closely integrated. Ensure that change brought about by new ways of working is understood,accepted, implemented, adopted and embedded into the business in a coherent manner to realise planned benefits and outcomes

Lead Systems Engineer will ensure:

The delivery approach is appropriate and commensurate to/with the tasks/deliverables/output
All engineering and change dimensions have been considered in the requirements
Engineering risks have been identified and are suitably mitigated and managed

**The Lead Systems Engineer will have to undergo, or already have SC Clearance
