Description

Springwell are a long established, friendly, family run letting agent in Leeds, with offices in Headingley and near to the universities in the city centre.

We specialise in the higher end of the student and young professional house share market, housing and looking after around 1,000 tenants each year.

We are looking for an individual to join our experienced team to provide administrative support for the lettings and maintenance functions.


About the role:


The role is office based dealing with all aspects of administration including the setting up and administration of tenancies, aiding with the administration of property maintenance, liaising with tenants and landlords, and general office duties.


In addition, due to the nature of our market, there will be brief periods during the year, when you may also be required to carry out property inspections and tenant viewings.


Responsibilities:


  • Communicating with tenants before and during their tenancies
  • Explaining our signing procedures/requirements to potential tenants
  • Creating tenancy agreements and ensuring all relevant details are entered correctly
  • Chasing tenancy documentation, rent, and deposit payments
  • Arranging inventories/check in's/check outs and midterm inspections
  • Registering deposits & sending out deposit certificate and Prescribed Information.
  • Issuing move in/out packs & keys, and checking all relevant documentation is on file
  • Some tenancy and certificate data input
  • Managing keys & their locations and arranging for keys to be cut
  • During busy periods to carry out viewings and inspections
  • General administrative duties

Essential Requirements:


  • Good computer literacy, and working knowledge of Excel & Word
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Minimum GCSE grades C or above in Maths and English or equivalent

Job Types:

Salary:
£21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
