We are currently seeking experienced Call Handlers on behalf of our well established client to join a dynamic team based in Sheffield.


Role Overview:


As a Call Handler, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from customers, providing assistance, and resolving queries efficiently and professionally and making outgoing calls helping clients manage their accounts and arrears.

This role requires previous experience in a similar position and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Providing accurate information and assistance to customers regarding products, services, and inquiries.
  • Resolving customer queries and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Logging all calls and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Escalating complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for resolution.
  • Following established scripts and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Contributing to the overall success of the call handling team by achieving performance targets and objectives.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a call handling or customer service role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Good problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
