Location:

Outward Bound Glasgow (Part time home based working will be considered).

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on experience).

Contract:
37.5 hours a week. Permanent contract.

Our fundraising team:

Outward Bound's fundraising team raises over £7m a year.

This provides bursary support for disadvantaged young people to attend our residential courses - and for capital requirements across The Trust.

The team of 15 are based at either head office in Hackthorpe, Cumbria, London or Glasgow.

As Fundraising Executive, you will be part of a team working together with the Head of Scottish Partnerships to raise £750,000.


Here's a bit more detail

  • Responsibility for your own portfolio of Trusts
  • Stewardship of existing relationships (with support from the Impact and Evaluation team)
  • Research and proactively bring on board new trusts to support Outward Bound
  • Supporting the fundraising and stewardship of existing donors for The Trust's two major projects in Scotland
  • The Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award and Scotland's Next Generation.
  • Supporting the Head of Scottish Partnerships in the stewardship of Corporate and Major Donors.
  • Meet and host visits for donors at our residential centres (some visits may require overnight travel)
  • Maintaining accurate records on The Trust's Microsoft Dynamics CRM database system
  • Provide support for the planning and execution of fundraising events
  • Support the social media activity of the Scotland fundraising team.
  • To be an active member of the team offering support with other associated tasks in line with the broad remit of the post
