The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all buildings workshops offices external areas are safe clean well maintained inc grassed areas carry out coordinate routine maintenance repairs inspections manage preventative maintenance schedules reduce breakdowns downtime oversee external areas parking lighting drainage signage respond promptly maintenance issues emergency repair maintain logs records compliance files produce reports activity costs compliance status track outstanding ensure timely resolution act key point contact facilities-related issues support department managers requirements respond professionally staff visitor concerns manage works refurbishments site improvement projects coordinate layout changes office moves upgrades manage cleaning waste disposal recycling pest control services ensure site security systems CCTV alarms access control operational source manage monitor contractors service providers ensure follow site safety procedures permit-to-work systems agree scopes timelines costs monitor contractor performance quality work ensure documentation RAMS insurance accreditations up-to-date ensure compliance Health Safety regulations conduct regular inspections risk assessments manage statutory checks fire alarms emergency lighting PAT testing gas water hygiene lifts accurate records documentation point H&S audits inspections
