The Role:

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Working on consultant databases collating and distributing data effectively and efficiently to databases using eVestment Omni.
  • Assessing the appetite for adding new funds to databases and new databases to our Campaign
  • Project management working with stakeholders internally to build reports increasing M&G's visibility on databases.
  • Supporting the team with reporting on databases, including completion rates and screens, utilising systems such as Power BI
  • Manage Salesforce reporting / analytics across the wider RFP, Market Intelligence and Database team.
  • Manage the completion of Surveys within M&G, establishing repeatable processes for attaining data internally.
  • Updating client questionnaires from coming from databases
  • Undertaking a number of strategic projects to improve the quality of data shared with clients.
  • Explore opportunities to automate wherever possible, working with internal technology and data teams to assess synergies.
  • Help influence strategy about how to present funds across databases maintaining consistency of message.
  • Monitor Data platforms for potential mandates.
  • Managing and responding to ad hoc queries from the wider business
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of / experience working with the following databases: eVestment, Mercer GIMD, Preqin, Camradata, Cambridge Associates, Callan, Wilshire, Alphaport
  • Experience of working in asset management
  • Achieved/working towards the IMC qualification.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Initiative to spot areas for improvement in process
  • Excellent attention to detail who ensures work is accurate and reviewed thoroughly.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrate a high level of energy, drive and dynamism.
