£18 - £20ph DOE (£37,000 - £41,000) Basic

Monday to Friday Role

We are looking for an energetic, technically focused Painter to join a fast-paced family run Bodyshop who will help redefine the car-servicing experience


Responsibilities

  • Perform preparation work prior to painting such as grinding, sanding, buffing and maskoff areas not to be painted
  • Fill cavities and dents as necessary
  • Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted using solvent, sandpaper, and wire brush
  • Selects and mixes paint to produce desired colour and finish according to specifications
  • Moves painted articles from preparation area to and from paint booth
  • Finish surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, pumice, compound, wax, or other materials
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Maintains cleanliness of spray booth
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous paint experience
  • Must be able to mix and match their own paint
  • Own their own gun and mask
  • Prep and polish work desired but not essential

Salary and Benefits
£18 - £20 per hour

Fantastic Bonus scheme

Monday - Friday 8-5

Flexable Hrs
