About the Employer
I am the employer and mother to my 49-year-old son.

He has moderate learning difficulties and will need assistance and support when managing money or purchases however, on the whole he is quire independent and can do most things himself.

He may at times require assistance with personal care but in the main manages this himself.

We are seeking a personal assistant to engage and support my son in accessing the community and activities of his choice, which in turn will allow his father and I a break from our caring role.

The PA is required to befriend and offer companionship and support within social settings.

My son is a great communicator and enjoys conversing with others, he is very sociable and pleasant with a good sense of humour and enjoys most activities.

The hours of support are flexible and can be agreed week on week between the employee and myself to work round the appointments he has with professionals and health services.
