A brand-new, exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our client who are a
market-leading engineeringCompany based in
Gloucester, as a
Technical Operations Administrator.
This role would suit a
team player with a
technical and/or engineering background, who has excellent
IT skills, strong
negotiation skills and a keen desire to deliver an exceptional level of
customer service, ensuring smooth delivery of
projects.
- Provide technical and operational support to Gloucester office.
- Manage incoming communication from both internal and external customers, directing as appropriate.
- Provide project admin support, to include sourcing of parts, engineers, liaising with customers and assessing contract implications.
- Produce quotations for services to include installations, equipment, service plans and parts. Assist with development of quotations into contracts.
- Produce reports to highlight SLA and KPI variances.
- Schedule engineers to complete planned workshop maintenance and breakdowns.
- Provide general advice and support to internal teams to include Parts, Recommendations and Service, for both parts and labour time required to fulfil projects.
- Update internal documentation.
- Produce daily progress reports on upcoming installation works.
- Communicate with suppliers.
- Receive incoming H&S correspondence to include RAMS.
- Liaise with customers in order to keep them updated on the progress of their project.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure works are completed in line with relevant contracts.
- Support team with raising PO's, transport requests and subcontractor orders.
- Assist with invoice queries.
- Identify problems that may impact on costs and project delivery, planning for these risks to be mitigated.
- Show initiative to ensure work is being completed on time and to a high standard.
- Experience in a technical administrative role.
- Advanced IT skills to include Microsoft Excel.
- Good commercial acumen.
- An engineering background (desirable).
- Experience working with parts.
- Project Management /team leading experience.
- A handson approach.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good listening and questioning skills.
- The ability to provide an outstanding level of customer service.
- Full UK driving licence.
£30,000will be offered.
- Working hours 8am 5pm Monday to Friday.
- Progressive holiday entitlement: Commencing at 24 days plus bank holidays.
