Exciting opportunity in Occupational Therapy

Hampshire Equipment Services (HES) supplies equipment to people being cared for or wishing to remain independent within their own homes. The service delivers and collects over 200,000 items of equipment each year.

  • You will work within a team of equipment advisors focused on getting clients the equipment they need to enable them to manage as independently as possible.
  • This is an office based role, although there may be occasions, when for training purposes, you accompany a senior member of staff on a visit in the community.
  • For your development you will receive regular supervision and learn about a wide range of community equipment such as beds, mattresses, hoists to enable you to advise community professionals.
  • With relevant background you will have excellent communication and administrative skills, be highly organised and customer focused. Above all you will share our passion for helping people achieve independent living, be a good team player and be able to work under pressure. We expect and actively encourage individuals to further develop their skills and knowledge within the full spectrum of the job role profile.
