Description
CPFT dietetics comprises 23 registered dietitians and 10 dietetic assistants working across the county.

We provide a service for those people needing specialist Gastroenterology, Mental Health, Diabetes and Nutritional Support within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

This post is within the Community Nutrition Support team and serves the population of Peterborough.

There are close working relationships with the department at Peterborough City Hospital and their Neurology and Gastroenterology teams, to ensure smooth transitions from acute to community and vice versa.


We have a strong history of clinical supervision and CPD with regular education meetings, clinical updates and supervisions discussions provided for all staff in the department.


To be successful in this post you need to be able drive around the county using your own vehicle as this is exclusively a community post.

You will need a strong work ethic, to be organised and to know your limits. The post is as rewarding as it can be varied day to day.


Provide specialist Home Enteral Feeding and Nutrition Support advice to adults living in Cambridgeshire as part of the CPFT Home Enteral Feeding team.

This includes routine reviews, trouble shooting, admission avoidance and preparing people for initial tube placements.


To deliver a specialist Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) role in the Nutrition and Dietetic Service in Cambridge & Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT).
