About the role


We are looking to appoint an experienced professional in the field of safeguarding to join the Department of Student life.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the student experience and play an integral role within the department.


About you


The post holder will work directly with Designated Safeguarding Officers within the Department of Student Life, significantly supporting safeguarding case work.

The role holder will use their knowledge of safeguarding matters and statutory relationships to receive and respond to disclosures, referring cases appropriately to both internal and external services or agencies.

The role holder will support on the delivery of wider work to promote safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing within the organisation to students and staff.


The role requires a holistic approach to student life and therefore it is essential that the post-holder can navigate the student experience and a broad range of information.
