Description

Our client based in Kintore are looking for painter/blaster this roll is 12-week temporary position. Possibility to going temp to perm.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate designated machine safely and competently, ensuring that all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained.
Prepare and paint components used in the assembly and production.
Review Work Orders to ensure familiarization with requirements of the job.
Checking of paint coverage by ensuring correct wet film thickness.
Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Handle steel parts and visually inspect and sort according to finishing needs.
Ability to complete daily reports as directed.
Perform a variety of duties including surface preparation shot blast and cleaning.
Make sure workflow is maximized by moving components to the correct stations.
Become familiar with and utilize all paint booth and shop safety procedures and equipment.
Cleaning of spray guns and lines.
Keep accurate production records.
Preparation of components before painting may be required.

Spray products as required, ensuring that paint is applied in a manner consistent with customer requirements and company quality standards.

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

ESSENTIAL
Good working knowledge of the Oil and Gas in a relevant field.
Working knowledge within an industrial painting environment
Skills, training or special knowledge
