Join us as our befriending assistant
Would you be interested in being part of the volunteering and community team delivering a befriending service and community groups for D/deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people?
The role will include:
- Visiting D/deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people in Birmingham who are feeling isolated
- To provide company, chat over tea/coffee,
- Share hobbies and potentially support the person to join one of our community groups.
The person we are looking for should have:
- Great communication skills including at least BSL level 3 or native BSL user
- People skills and flexible to the demands of the service
