We have an exciting opportunity available for an
Maintenance Assistant to
join our team working full time,
40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. In return we will offer you an hourly pay rate of
£10.42 per hour (OTE £10.94 per hour), a place to develop your skills and the chance to work in some of the UK's most stunning forest environments.


NOTE:
All 16 to 18 year olds will be paid £7.67 per hour (OTE £8.05 per hour).

Open all year round, our Maintenance Assistant ensures our cabins are in good working order with well-maintained décor.

You will respond to issues promptly and the ability to solve these issues whilst maintaining excellent communication with the guest is essential.

This can include everything from solving issues with a dishwasher not cleaning correctly, a hot tub not holding temperature, a toilet not flushing, a door not locking and lots of painting.

Our Maintenance Assistant will ensure every cabin is regularly audited to keep standards high.

Working in the Operations Team you will also assist across the location as and when required, for example delivering items ordered from the Retreat to cabins or emptying bins on a changeover day.

Our ideal Maintenance Assistant is a dynamic individual who applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location.

A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

You will also complete general maintenance tasks, so a basic knowledge of using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating is desirable.
