Location:
Hybrid - one to two days per week in the Peterborough office


Working Days/Hours:
Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 17:30


AB Dairy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Support Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring customer and stakeholder satisfaction.


This role is not the usual customer service role, where you would be on the phone all day, the emphasis on this role is to provide exceptional administration and support to the clients.


What you will be doing - not limited too

  • Being the first point of contact for all Inbound calls into the customer service department, actioning both internal and external enquiries within agreed SLA's.
  • To process customer enquiries, orders and change requests accurately and efficiently as per company working procedures
  • To proactively manage order requirements, anticipating and resolving potential issues including achieving min 10day preemption target with effective notes
  • Contract entry and amendments completed accurately and adhering to trading controls.
  • Monthly product pricing for Provisional contracts where applicable.
  • To ensure effective communication with customer, operations, distribution, and commercial teams
  • To handle complaints in accordance with company procedures and implement preventative actions.
  • To provide cover (Holiday, Absence, Campaign) and always volunteer to assist FI CS team members to share workload.
  • Develop strong working relationships with external customers (including third party coproduct and feed suppliers.
  • Build strong internal relationships with key internal customers within the Commercial and Operational teams, with a clear focus on achieving business and departmental performance targets.

What you will bring:


  • Practical customer service experience with good telephone and customer service skills (Essential)
  • Current or previous experience of working in the agricultural industry (Desirable)
  • Analytical with good commercial awareness. (Essential)
  • Able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally (Essential)
  • Good organisational skills. (Essential)
  • An understanding of the fundamental drivers of the UK ruminant industries (Desirable)
  • Computer literate with excel word and outlook (Essential)
  • A strong desire to succeed and an absolute can do attitude, linking in with KW's vision for the Region, Channel, and broader business (Essential)
  • A keen eye for detail (Essential)
