Description
As a Family Ambassador, you will ensure the needs and views of parents and families are heard and acted on by working within the East of England Provider Collaborative commissioned services across a number of providers). You will work within the Collaboratives wards/units for Children and Young People (CYP) inpatient mental health and learning disability settings


Many families may be traumatised from their experiences and will require understanding and a vision of hope and optimism from you as their ambassador.

Your role will be to work alongside the clinical units to ensure that the parents and families are engaged in their young persons pathway, enabling their voice and opinions to be heard and acted upon.

You will work alongside clinical teams in the units to support them to build pathways and opportunities to ensure parents and families are treated as partners,


This is a new post therefore although having clear parameters and expectations there will be opportunities to positively shape and influence the role and build and develop important relationships with stakeholders and partners.
