THE ROLE
We are looking for an Associate Director to work with the PR & Policy team:

  • Someone who thinks with their heart and their head.
  • Someone who is passionate about healthcare and public relations and someone who is committed to doing the right thing by the clients, brands and companies.
  • You will have a lot of autonomy with this position, reporting directly into the business unit director.
  • Lead, develop and build client relationships within client organisations to increase visibility of your comms client but also access the broader marketing teams to demonstrate the strategic value they bring to their client partnerships. You will lead andmentor their hungry and committed talent to retain the low turnover and high staff engagement they're so proud of, and help their team do the best work of their careers
  • Be part of the management team, as well as joining larger network management discussions where appropriate. And, you'll be responsible for a chunk of their revenue/forecast, contributing to business development opportunities and taking a key role in pitchand proposal development.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You'll have proven experience in a senior account director or associate director role in a pharma PR environment
  • Pharmaceutical client experience is a must and you should have a strong grasp of this industry
  • You'll have demonstrable skills of working on a variety of global/regional/UK projects, and multiple accounts
  • You'll have experience of managing all sizes of team, as well as being able to effectively manage relationships with senior management
  • You will have exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills and be seen as a credible 'voice' to both clients and internal stakeholders alike
