Workrate Security is recruiting for a number of Security Officer positions to join a well established security team deployed in London.


The most important part of this role is operating and enforcing access control procedures in a high profile security environment.

It requires the use of a computer based access control system and a digital ticketing system that records security events.

Full training will be provided for both, but you need to have good basic basic computer skills.

We are looking for people who;

  • Will be an ambassador for Workrate Security and our customer
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Are happy to work as part of a team
  • Are courteous and presentable
  • Are comfortable with basic Security report writing
  • Are able to carry out security duties as specified, including access control, patrols, monitoring CCTV etc to a high standard

Other requirements are:

  • Valid SIA licence
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Availability to work both night and day shifts (shifts run 07.00 to 19.00 and 19.00 to 07.00)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail
