Howdens are recruiting Yard Operatives to join our work surfaces manufacturing site in Holme upon Spalding Moor, East Yorkshire, where we produce and manufacture bespoke stone kitchen worktops.

Our Yard Operatives are responsible for the efficient movement of out bound goods and the safe storage and careful handling of our stored items in line with SOPS and health and safety processes.

Pay rate and shift pattern:

- £14.47ph + generous shift allowance + monthly production bonus and daily meal allowance

Sunday to Thursday night shifts 9:45pm 6am
Opportunities for overtime

The role:

Loading and securing hard surface finished goods onto vehicles using forklift trucks and manual handling equipment
Accountable for the quantity and quality checking of all finished goods
Preparing pallets for shipping of finished goods
Processing goods out on our internal warehouse system
Reporting any damages or missing goods to Dispatch Leader

What are we looking for:

FLT trained
Experience of warehouse and dispatch processes
Trained and qualified in operating lifting equipment
Competent in operating crane manoeuvres
