Description

As a Residential Building Surveyor at NJS PROPERTY GROUP LTD, you will play a crucial role in conducting thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their condition, identify defects, and provide expert advice to clients.


This role requires a professional with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) regulation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and ethical practices.


Key Responsibilities:

Property Inspections:

Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties, both internally and externally, to assess their overall condition, structural integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.


Survey Reports:
Prepare comprehensive and clear survey reports that outline your findings, including any defects, necessary repairs, and recommendations. Communicate these reports to clients in a concise and understandable manner.

Client Consultation:
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and address any concerns they may have. Provide professional advice and guidance on property-related matters.

Regulatory Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, ensuring all surveys and reports adhere to RICS guidelines. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and property-related legislation. Stay informed about advancements in building materials and technologies.

Project Management:
Manage multiple surveys simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and clients receive timely and accurate information. Coordinate with other professionals, such as Solicitors and Estate Agent, when necessary.

Continuous Professional Development:
Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and changes in regulations. Pursue additional qualifications or certifications as relevant.

£50,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
