Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.


We are currently recruiting for Trainee Aircraft Mechanic to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 500 aircraft for one of the world's largest and most successful airlines.

Location:
Glasgow Prestwick International Airport


Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks as required and allocated with mínimal supervision
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Complete the appropriate documentation
  • Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
  • Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager

Requirements:


Experience and Qualifications:


  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desirable, however not essential.
  • HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in engineering / mechanical is essential.
  • Background in engineering/maintenance is essential.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Must be willing to work shifts (including nights).
  • Flexible approach to working in a fastchanging environment.
