Cost Accountant (12 month fixed term contract) |£40,000 - £50,000 package |Bo'ness, Falkirk

The Opportunity
Are you looking for a long term (12 month minimum contract) interim assignment within a large group locally?

You'll be Cost Accountant / Finance Business Partner for a thriving subsidiary of a large scale FTSE 250 manufacturing group.

An excellent business to have on your CV - it's fast paced and innovative manufacturing giving you chance to add versatile and interestingexperience to your skillset.

Your role is highly business facing - commercially involved and an opportunity to really have an impact and make a genuine difference.

You'll be influencing decision making and change through the delivery of meaningful and credible reporting and commentary.

Drilling down into results / P&L info to shine a light around true costs of production, labour and material variances, forecasting accuracy, variances and trends

Lots of valuable interaction and discussion with operational colleagues across the production setting to get behind the numbers and provide useful and real-world summaries.

If you enjoy management accounting / cost accounting within fast paced modern manufacturing and are able to commit to a 12 month project we would welcome the chance to speak.

Required:

CIMA or equivalent ideally.
Previous experience of management accounting / business partnering / cost accounting within a manufacturing / production / engineering or distribution setting.
Great analytical skills and confidence to discuss financial information with a non finance audience.
A proactive approach you'll be someone who loves getting a clear understanding of what is impacting cost and what are the drivers of efficiency within a production arena.
