Sheridan Maine is pleased to be partnering an established organisation that has a temporary opportunity for a Financial Controller.

The company has seen some rapid development in recent months, and this is an exciting opportunity for a finance professionalto gain some exposure in a fast-growing business.

The position will be hybrid working, with site based days at their brand new offices in Yeovil, and has likelihood of being made permanent.


Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include but are not limited to:

  • Production of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Development of new reporting packs
  • Provision of variance analysis
  • Work closely with the CFO to enhance budget and planning processes
  • Cash forecasting and management
  • Review, update and improve current processes and reporting
  • Manage, mentor and develop members of the team to grow with the business
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors to ensure efficient audit completion
  • Adhoc support to senior management
  • Act as deputy for the CFO

The successful Financial Controller will require the following attributes:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with minimum 5 years' PQE
  • Experience of working in project accounting
  • Customer/stakeholder focused and experienced in communicating financial knowledge across all levels within a corporate environment

This role sits within IR35.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
