Accounts Assistant to Assistant Accountant

Manchester City Centre

£22,000 - £25,000

The property industry is booming and this business in Manchester City Centre has been given the green light for exciting projects for the first half of 2023.

They're market-leading, they're cutting-edge and they're taking the Northwest by storm.

The Directors put their success down to the team -in particular, the accounts department who are the cogs in the wheel and the individuals who manage the financials & help make the company as profitable as possible.

And they're currently expanding

They are on the lookout for likeminded individuals who are passionate about their careers and want to make a name for themselves.

You must be studying towards your AAT and as long as you can demonstrate 12-18 months' finance experience - the Financial Controller will support & back you all the way in becoming an Assistant Accountant.

The following progression timeline has been mapped out for you to work towards:

First 6 months
getting to know all the processes, system and having your transactional finance experience signed off
612 months training on management accounts processes and monthend close
12 months annual review and promotion to Assistant Accountant

That means that by this time next year you can have achieved promotion into a more senior role thanks to the training and support that is on offer; how quickly this happens will be dictated by yourself and there is no pressure; so if this takes a littlelonger, then that's absolutely fine - but it'll be only yourself in line for that promotion; you're not competing against the rest of the team as everyone is at different stages of their career.
