Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a fantastic Learning and Development team in a role which you can really make your own?

As an Investors in People Gold accredited employer, we're passionate about developing our colleagues to be the best that they can be.

BW Legal's Learning and Development team are at the forefront of this mission, ensuring that all of our colleagues are in the driving seat of their development throughout their career with us.

As L&D Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in coordinating the learning journey of new and existing colleagues by taking overall responsibility for our Learning Management System (LMS).

Reporting directly to the L&D Lead, you will administer the LMS, ensuring all course and learner details are accurate, up to date, and enrolments work smoothly.

You will set up, manage, and edit rules and assignments on the LMS, ensuring that colleagues are set up on their BW Beginning induction programme accurately, as well as produce reports and analytics regarding learning progress.

Alongside this, you'll ensure training rooms, resources and equipment are booked and prepared, and invites to delegates are sent in a timely manner via the LMS.

First impressions are key and so we're looking for a friendly face who can set up our learners for success by making them feel welcome as they develop their careers within the BW Legal family.

Joining our talented L&D team offers you the opportunity to take the next step in your career in a dual-regulated, market-leading law firm, working alongside experts in their field with great career progression prospects.

This is an interesting and varied role covering both the L&D team and the wider People & Culture department, with duties including:

  • Administering and managing our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Producing reports and analytics regarding learning progress
  • Managing the L&D inbox, responding to colleague, management and external queries
  • Coordinating the booking of all classroom workshop training (including rooms, equipment, and facilities), as well as sending invites to colleagues and managers
  • Supporting our L&D Trainers in preparing workshop activities and resources
  • Supporting the wider People & Culture team with other ad hoc activities, such as engagement events

We ask you to have the following skills and experience:

  • At least 1 year of administration / support experience in a HR, L&D or People & Culture team or have recently gained a qualification in this field
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or above

While not essential, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:

  • Experience of working in Legal or Financial sector
  • Experience of using LMS platforms
Your working week will be 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

We are able to offer some flexibility on working hours and are happy to consider different variations, including 8am-2pm, 8.30am-2.30pm or 9am-3pm.

With a starting salary of between £19,700-£21,200 dependent on your experience, as an L&D Systems Administrator you will have a clear progressive career path with regular performance-based reviews which reward success in the role.
