We have an exciting opportunity for aSenior Site Agent to work on our Thames Water framework in the Thames Valley region
About the Project
Costain are working with Thames Water, and we have fantastic opportunities for individuals to join our growing delivery team for AMP7 across the Thames Water region, predominantly in the Thames Valley region outside.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Key Alliance partners and subcontractors
Ensure your team understands the project objectives and client needs
Manage direct reports and site team, reviewing their performance, duties and support their development
Ensure that all engineering, measurement, sub-contract works are undertaken in accordance with the conditions and requirements of the contract
Work closely with Design Manager to ensure buildability and timely delivery of design outputs
Manage, review and drive resourced Construction Programme
Promote continuous improvement and share good practice within the project
Attend / arrange weekly co-ordination, progress and programme / resource meetings as required
Set the highest example for Health and Safety Requirements; monitor and drive SHE performance on site
Manage risks and opportunities by regular input into project risk register, ensuring mitigation and action plans are being worked to, updated, and communicated
About you
Significant Civil / MEICA construction experience
Project Management and Design experience
Good understanding of Engineering Principles and experience of solving technical problems
Relevant Engineering Degree or similar HNC/HND.
Working towards or have Chartered Membership of recognised institution
Relevant CSCS Card
Training in Health, Safety & Environmental management
Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document Control systems)
Desirable
AMP 5/6/7 Water Industry experience
Temporary works coordination experience, confined space working, lifting operations, scaffold management
Civils and Commissioning phase experience
Experience in managing multiple sites
