Trusts and Grants Officer - External Relations Team


Hours:
Full-Time, 35 hours per week (consideration for substantial part-time and/or flexible working will be given)


Salary:
£29,000 to £35,000 (pro rata for part-time working)

Based in our Diocesan Office in Stoke Gifford (North Bristol)

The Role

We're the Diocese of Bristol - the Church of England across Bristol, South Gloucester, North Wiltshire and Swindon.


The Diocese of Bristol is in the early stages of implementing an exciting new organisational strategy seeking to respond to the most vivid of visions; that humanity might be reconciled, and creation restored.

To achieve this, we are building a dynamic new External Relations Team who will be responsible for delivering an ambitious Fundraising, Communications & Marketing and Strategic Partnerships strategy.

That's where you come in.

As Trusts and Grants Officer, you will be responsible for generating grant income for the Diocese of Bristol. To the experienced fundraiser, this is a recognisably traditional third sector trust fundraising role.


You will:

  • Devise compelling fundraising propositions and cases for support.
  • Carry out a rigorous prospect research programme.
  • Be an organised selfstarter who will be empowered to think creatively and contribute original ideas in a fun, energetic team.
