Job Summary:

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate of community engagement to join a residential developer where this carries a pivotal focus.

The Communities Executive is a central resource within the developers Communities and Sustainability team.

Reporting into the Sustainability Director you will help ensure that the Community Engagement and Social Value agenda is managed and delivered effectively across all development projects.

In this role you will research local communities produce community engagement plans that will enhance the relationship between the client, project, business and the community.

Responsibilities:

Taking personal responsibility for delivering the best outcomes for customers
Producing clear and concise communication on Community Engagement plans, Social Value and KPIs
Being the first point of contact with local authorities, community organisations (e.g. schools and job centres) and residents.
Work with the Development Team to ensure the company meets all S106 requirements and offer suggestions where there could be further improvement.
Arranging Volunteering activities with our partners and in the community

Skills and qualifications required:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Community Engagement and Social Value.
Ability to meet deadlines
Knowledge of S106 and experience of the construction or real estate/ Development industries
Ability to communicate and influence effectively with all staff, contractors, stakeholders and residents
An understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the diverse communities the company will work with
Undertake presentations when required
The ability to manage difficult situations in a calm considerate and concise manner.
