Avove is a new, independent utilities infrastructure business, formed from the utilities division of leading infrastructure services company, Amey.
We design, build and maintain the UK's utilities infrastructure to help transform local communities for the better.

The Role:


Responsibilities:


  • Collect, analyse, and reformat health and safety data for thirdparty use, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of health and safety initiatives across various sites, offering assistance as needed.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations related to health and safety initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when faced with changing priorities or tight deadlines, proactively managing tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team, contributing to a positive work environment and achieving shared objectives.
  • Help deliver the management of change strategy, ensuring that all changes are welldocumented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as required, including but not limited to preparing reports, and maintaining records.

Skills & Experience:


  • Demonstrated experience in health and safety, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, able to work with a diverse range of colleagues.
  • Experience in helping to deliver management of change strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
