**Job Title: Prep / Polish Technician

Nightshift role**
Location: Chelmsford CM1 3AE

Full Time-Permanent Position

NO WEEKENDS

Whether it is minor car park damage or a road traffic accident our client's 58 repair centre provide a range of services that use modern repair methods to put your vehicle back to its pre-accident condition, ensuring we repair every vehicle with utmost pride and care.

They are now looking for a Prep / Polish Technician for their Accident Repair / Bodyshop in Chelmsford.

About the Job:

As an experienced Vehicle Prepper, you will be responsible for:

Surface preparation, filling, sanding and cleaning surfaces
Unpacking, handling and preparing parts prior to paint
Minor Filler Jobs
Prepare and clean panels for priming.
Priming
Prepare Vehicles for paint
Polishing

About You:

You will have previous experience preparing cars for painting, ideally from an accident repair background, with high attention to detail and working to high standards.
You will be able to work safely under pressure and be able to plan and manage your workload effectively.
