Shift Pattern: 10am - 2pm Monday - Friday.
- Answering the telephone.
- Inputting client details onto our systems.
- Keeping appointment diaries.
- Managing room bookings.
- Creating a monthly update newsletter.
- Filing, photocopying, shredding, and other general administration tasks.
- To support the Youth Development Worker in delivering effective internal communications for offline and online staff.
- To support the team on external content and engagement when business needs require.
- To create communication strategies which enable the delivery of agreed service objectives and outcomes.
- To create high quality written materials, concepts and advice, specifically articles, blogs, news releases and social media copy.
- To produce reports for a variety of Stakeholders.
- To build relationships with the management team, staff, members and local partners.
- To attend meetings, other member bodies and external meetings as required.
- Provide support to the Development Manager in delivering Southdale Community Association aims, core values and business objectives.
- Plan and deliver staff engagement activities and events, both virtual and face to face.
- Previous administration experience is not required.
However, the following skills would be useful:
- Multitasking & excellent organisation skills
- Good communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of staff and management.
- Good timekeeping skills
- A good understanding and level of experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook and social media platforms.
Essential
- Qualifications/training that demonstrate computer literacy.
- High level organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional telephone manner and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of communications with employees (internal communications).
- Experience of Customer Service.
Desirable
- A selfstarter with a high level of initiative and the abilities to act independently.
- Ability and enthusiasm to get involved in the wider work of the team.
- Creative flair.
- A passion for and coupled with extensive knowledge and understanding of modern digital communication methods.
