Norse Groups Support Services Division has an exciting opportunity within our Payroll Department for a Payroll Advisor to join the team based at our Head Office on Fifers Lane, Norwich.
The role
As the Payroll Advisor, you will undertake a number of duties within the payroll team including maintaining accurate payroll information, processing timesheets, responding to daily enquiries and assisting with payroll runs and checking reports.
- Inputting of employee and HMRC data to the payroll system.
- Completion of information requests from customers and third parties.
- Working as part of a large team to ensure accurate & timely administration of the payment of wages across 15 payrolls.
- Continually review own personal development and maintain legislative knowledge.
- Experience working in Payroll for a similar large organisation.
- Desirable
- Good working knowledge of relevant software, including Microsoft Office tools in particular Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a business
- Excellent attitude and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, and prioritise your workload accordingly
- Any knowledge of payroll processes would be an advantage but not essential
